Retriever Training Facilities

The new Stellar Retriever’s kennel is located south of Giddings off of FM 213. The 110 acre grounds include swim-by pond, Two Technical ponds, a Horseshoe pond, a water training maze, and four natural ponds designed to train gun dogs on multiple entries. The grounds have a gentle rolling terrain, large Post Oak trees to train in and around, with multiple mounds to work with and off of. Stellar also has use of other training grounds with technical water and varying terrain which allows dogs multiple training scenarios preparing the dogs for every hunting condition. Our new kennels are being designed for maximum comfort in the warmer months and protection from the cold in the winter. We have a separate kennel facility to house females in season to minimize disruption in the training program.

The summer training facility, located in Bemidji, Mn also has multiple ponds for technical work, and varying terrain. Insuring your dog continues its education without a break, due to the Texas heat.
